El complejo turistico Nautilus ha adaptado sus instalaciones para las personas de movilidad reducida
La presidenta de Asolan, Susana Perez; el acalde de Tias, Jose Juan Cruz Saavedra, y la directora gerente de Nautilus Lanzarote Bungalows, Leda Giordano, han presentado el complejo, que se ubica en la calle Gramillo, 5, en la Urbanizacion Matagorda En el acto tambien han participado la concejal de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de T?as, Gertraud Gfoller, y el vicepresidente de Asolan por la zona turistica de Puerto del Carmen, Fernando Benitez.
Susana Perez, ha resaltado que "la isla de Lanzarote vuelve a convertirse en referente. Y ha sido la iniciativa privada quien da respuestas a las necesidades de una parte de la poblacion que quiere disponer de instalaciones turisticas adaptadas a sus necesidades y peculiaridades". Por su parte, el alcalde de Tias, Jose Juan Cruz, ha avanzado que "en breve se iniciaran las obras para adecuar algunas de las playas de Puerto del Carmen
que permitan al destino tener la capacidad de ofrecer zonas del litoral accesibles para todas las personas con movilidad reducida, aspecto que tambien se trasladara al transporte urbano municipal".

Together Reaching Illusions - World Winners Way
It is a Association that includes the creation of a World Sports and Science Association (athletes with diverse disabilities) to incentive, promote and generate research, congresses, medical projects, but also therapies and treatments immediately applied to affected people and their families.
A theme network has been created (supported and with the collaboration of the Myelin Project) so that searchers can generate:

2 Therapies
3 Exchange between investigators of different countries, theme network
4 Camps for disabled people (in various countries)
and many more … with the purpose of pushing abilities and help searchers who give us so much for the improvement of life

“LANZAROTE HELP-LANZAROTE AYUDA” nacio en 2001 como una modesta organizacion cuyo objetivo era dar cobertura quirurgica a los mas necesitados y sin recursos economicos.
Fue fundada por el Dr. RicardoCortes y el matrimonio ingles Roper, que consiguieron entre 1997 y 2001 recoger fondos y tratar con ?xito las secuelas de una quemadura de m?s del 50% del cuerpo de una ni?a de 15 anos desheredada, huerfana y abandonada y cuyo caso se hab?a dado por perdido.

Our special care for these has led us to undergo strict examination in order to become a “Biosphere Hotel”. The fragility of our environment and the need to preserve it for future generations is felt strongly in a volcanic island like Lanzarote, designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. We develop our activity in a way that is respectful with our social and natural environment, and also culturally creative and sustainable from the operational point of view.
We know that life, time and health impose a number of limitations, but we are committed to diminishing those artificial limitations that result from the lack of vision of society in relation to a part of its members. That is why those who in one way or another are impeded physically can find in Nautilus bungalows fully adapted to their necessities, apart from a friendly environment ever adapting to their requirements.
